I'm Lynn Killberg Thoreson, the flower-obsessed designer behind Wild Fleurette— and my eye for detail runs deep.
It's what led me to get a PhD in marine science, where I spent years studying the nutrient biochemistry of microscopic organisms — specifically harmful algal blooms.
Those blooms were fascinating. But the blooms I work with now smell waaaay better!
It was a deep desire to explore my creativity that pulled me out of the lab and into the garden. Over fifteen years ago, I made my first bouquet and never looked back.
Since then, I've studied with top designers and hunted for the best blooms in flower fields from California to the Netherlands.
I love focusing on seasonal flowers and foliage and designing with their natural movement for a look that's effortlessly beautiful.
